Ingredients

8 oz. low-fat cream cheese

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 tsp vanilla extract (or as-desired)

1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp light brown sugar

4 tbsp dark chocolate chips (or as-desired)

4 tbsp mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (or as-desired)

1 box of honey graham crackers (can replace with gluten-free graham crackers to make recipe gluten-free)

Recipe

  1. Allow butter to come to room temperature. This makes it easier to mix and avoids chunks of butter in bowl.
  2. Add cream cheese to large or medium-sized bowl and begin mixing. You want your cream cheese to be easy to mix. I suggest using a fork in this step.
  3. In a separate bowl, begin mixing butter. Use a fork.
  4. Add your vanilla extract to butter bowl. This will make the butter more soft.
  5. After mixing both, add butter/vanilla bowl to larger cream cheese bowl and mix.
  6. Mix in powdered sugar and light brown sugar using a whisk.
  7. After mixture is as homogenous as possible, pour in your chocolate chips. Using a silicone spatula, fold chocolate chips into mixture.
  8. Serve with honey graham crackers.
