With this version of the Westside Barbell Conjugate Method, I’ve adapted it so that anyone and everyone can utilize it without the use of bands or chains, all it takes is a little patience and a whole lot of suck. This will be a 6 week program, then I’ll have something special for you after that.

My name is Tim Murray.

I am the 2-time Fittest Man on Earth for the short stature division of the CrossFit Games. Working towards #3…

I’ve been an athlete my whole life, competing in various events ranging from baseball in high school, to powerlifting competitions, competing at the Arnold Sports Festival in kettlebell sport, and was 6 inches away from making it to the London and Beijing Paralympic games. I’ve held numerous world records in the World Dwarf Games and National Records for the Dwarf Athletic Association of America.

I started CrossFit two years ago when they announced a short stature division and figured it was time to give CrossFit a try. I like to think it’s worked out in more ways than one. Not only have I won my division the past two years, my friends and I started an adaptive CrossFit class at our gym, Newport Fitness/NewCov CrossFit. Every Wednesday we host 4-8 people for a fun night of fitness. In order to keep growing our class we need to get the word out that we have it to more people (so I’m hitting up as many competitions as I can to promote it, we need to help finance those who can’t afford it but want to participate (I’ll use whatever winnings I make to sponsor athletes) and purchase equipment so everyone can adapt as needed.
